Daniel Cole SWLA has spent 25 years as a natural history illustrator, working with publishers worldwide. Today he paints solely for galleries, exhibiting across the country. Daniel’s passion for nature and the landscape still inspire his work today, painting and sketching in the field, then working on larger fine art pieces from his studio in Truro, pushing colour, line and texture in abstraction.
Ornithology has been a lifelong love, he was accepted as a member of The Society of Wildlife Artists in 2005, where he shows, annually at the Mall Galleries London. He has been awarded numerous awards, most recently he won the Swarovski Bird Artist of the Year. The Royal Cornwall Museum hosted his successful solo show last year, where his work is now part of their permanent art collection.
